Sun exposure, geographic elevation, daily commute times, stress levels and even ozone pollution can accelerate the aging of skin, but which factor is the biggest culprit when it comes to your wrinkles?

ROC Skincare's second annual Wrinkle Ranking study determined the states with conditions most hazardous to skin, with a state-by-state assessment to analyze influences that may increase or decrease ones proclivity for wrinkles.

MORE Magazine's Deputy Beauty Editor Didi Gluck says, "The good news about this study is it enables you to be proactive about your skincare. Here are her best tips and tricks for fighting these elements and looking younger.

Step up your skincare regiment

When getting your skincare regime in check Didi says to focus what you do for your face at night since nighttime is when your skin renews itself. "Most dermatologist recommend getting on a regiment of a gentle cleanser, regular exfoliation and using a night cream with retinol, which is seen as the golden standard in wrinkle reduction," she says.

One night cream she recommends readers is ROC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream. "I like it because it has pure retinol and a mineral complex in and women who used it for twelve weeks saw visible reduction in wrinkles," she says.

Pick it up for just $22.99 it is very fairly price.

Give your hair a little bit of love

"We know that one in three women see some thinning of their hair at some point in their life," says Didi, "It is known as hereditary hair loss but the good news there is that women's Rogaine has a new product to help."

Women's Rogaine Foam is the first and only FDA-approved, once daily hair regrowth product exclusively for women. It is super simple to use you massage it into your scalp once a day. "81% of women who used it for twelve weeks noticed that their hair was growing back up to 48% thicker than when they started," she says. A two-month supply is $29.99. Minimal makeup

"It might seem counterintuitive" says Didi, "You think you want to put more makeup on but in fact you probably want to wear a little less because it can get trapped and wrinkle and exasperate the look of wrinkles."

So she recommends using a light touch either a sheer foundation or a tinted CC cream to even out your skin tone. Some shadow on the lids, a swipe of mascara and a touch of color on the lip is all it takes.

A good cut

You can always cover grey if you choose to but getting a good haircut can really make a difference in the way you look to others. "Certainly some long layers always help hair look fuller," says Didi.
