It was all about PUNK last night when we stepped out for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala, to celebrate the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit. Here are some of the celebs who really got into the theme…
Beyoncé gave us glam punk in a Givenchy gown with leather corset top.
Christina Ricci rocked a Vivienne Westwood dress in plaid (a grunge punk staple!)
And last but not least, Sarah Jessica Parker paid full homage to the era in a Mohowk headdress by Phillip Treacy.
Over the weekend we hit the west coast for the Mom 2.0 Summit in Laguna Beach, California. It was all about moms talking life, work, and inspiration at the 5th annual conference where we got to chat with new mama Lisa Ling. She recently joined forces with Dove’s® Self-Esteem Project and was at the weekend-long event to launch their “Let’s Make Girls Unstoppable” campaign encouraging positive self-esteem amongst girls.

The host of Our America had some startling statistics to share with us….
We learned six in ten girls stop doing their favorite things because they feel bad about what they look like.
Dove’s® commitment to change this is what drew the mother of baby girl Jett to partner with the brand. “I think about my own daughter. And I’m going to try to do everything in my power to instill beauty and confidence in her,” she said.
That is exactly the same sentiment Dove sets out to share with 15 million girls by 2015 through self-esteem programming and tools. And it was awesome to see the campaign in action as girls from Girls Inc. confidently shared their favorite things about themselves. You go girls!
Yes, of course we love covering the Golden Globes and Oscars! However, it is always fun to end the movie award season with a bang at the outrageous MTV Movie Awards. We hit this year’s red carpet outside Sony Pictures Studios before the big show to catch up with the evening’s biggest nominees and performers.
Selena Gomez showed up to deliver a Bollywood inspired performance of her new single “Come and Get It”
A very pregnant Kim Kardashian introduced Justin Bieber’s ex’s performance.
Django Unchained’s leading lady, Kerry Washington took to the red carpet with co-star Jamie Foxx to see if their onscreen lip-lock would take the Moonman for Best Kiss.
Nominee, Emma Watson later took the Trailblazer Award.
Check out the full list of winners here!
We headed to Hollywood to meet up with celebrity makeup artist, Amy Oresman who dished all her secrets to us on how to look like a star.
Glowing skin like Jennifer Garner? Amy suggests, Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Moisturizer. It’s actually one of her favorites because it helps to fade lines, hydrates, and creates a beautiful base for the skin.
The perfect smokey eye like Amy Adams? Easy with their Crease Proof Eye Shadow. Just one swipe and your eyes really pop!

How about long, lush lashes like Zoe Saldana…Amy loves Neutro’s Healthy Length Mascara. Not only does it give you the extra length but it also packs a conditioner punch with vitamin E and olive oil.

This may have been Colbie’s first time at Fashion Week, but she worked it like a pro. Popping up at Badgley Mischka to show off her new duds from designers Mark and James.
She’s funny, beautiful and talented…we’re talking Katherine Heigl and we met up with her at the Jenny Packham Fall 2013 show during fashion week. When we asked the mother of two how she juggles it all, she simply stated she would get back to us. Right now she’s a mom and enjoys just being that. But she really misses acting, so back to work she goes.
Her next film? “The Big Wedding,” comes out this April!
We spotted the fun and fabulous Rosario Dawson at the Boy Meets Girl show. The actress sported a new ‘do, with one half of her head shaved… all for Sin City 2.
Rosario was dancing around, acting silly and “being a spaz” as she would put it with her gal pal and designer of Boy Meets Girl, Stacy Igel. But you’re not a spaz to us Rosario, just a down to earth person, living life. We’d hang out with you any day!
That was the question we asked Leigh Lezark from the DJ trio the Misshapes…who used to be a brunette. Well it was more jet black than brunette. But to our surprise when we saw her backstage at Herve Leger, she was a blushing blonde.
So the question remains…do blondes have more fun? Leigh told us, she always has fun, no matter what her hair color is.
The hippies influencing Ronson’s clothes are not the barefoot type. Her models sport strong booties in black and camel suede … not for tip toeing through the tulips.
Actress, Holland Roden from MTV’s Teen Wolf is a fan, “It’s a little different each season but she has that 60s flower child undertone to it and I think she executes that idea really well.”
That’s how Heidi starts each show on Project Runway and at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, it’s no different. Each season, a new celebrity judge comes out but this time it was Michael Kors, one of PR’s original judges and mentors.
So what about the show??
“They were incredibly creative. We had many flavors. They all brought their best foot forward today,” says Nina Garcia.
