Last night was the preliminary kick off to fashion week with the 9th Annual Style Awards…celebrating the artistic accomplishments of the community’s top costume designers, stylists, models, photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists, etc. Everyone behind the scenes who make the rich and famous look good.
Nicole Richie was our favorite of the night. Looking so sexy chic…she was there to present “Hair Stylist of the Year” to Andy Lecompte….who’s worked with Reese Witherspoon, Madonna and Katie Holmes…just to name a few.

The Style Awards will debut on The Style Network on Friday, September 14th at 8pm ET/PT

Good Morning Lovelies.
I’m here at the stage tent at Lincoln Center and I have to say, the music at the Jill Stuart show is ALMOST making up for my miserable Q Train experience this morning. They are running through the show right now – with Jill looking on from the front row.

Walk you pretty pretty ponies!! Walk I say!
Going to have to find some benevolent fashionista to tell me what is in the pretty pink gift bags.
Earlier we were at Binetti, here we are chatting with the man himself. He’ll be featuring Silhouette eyewear in his show.

Binetti might be the friendliest designer on the planet. I almost asked him to bring me some coffee. He would have done it.
Here’s Jill Stuart backstage. I think I was creeping her out a little.

Cute dress!
Hair at Binetti was all cute little top knots with very glowy, golden make up. Tiny little smudges of smoke at the corner of the eyes.

Top Knot? Top notch!
More to come. We’re here all day. Feel free to bring me a frap!
Well, the show must go on as they say and all 80 plus will be
under the fashion tents and for the last time, since next season they’ll be held at Lincoln Center.
BCBG MAX AZRIA kicked it off for us slightly techno-style, lots of color blocking, seas of neutral and black, and loads of draping.
Pop-Star, Michelle Williams was there to pay homage and a house full of A-list editors from Anna Wintour to Hal Rubenstein.
Most were stunned, just hearing the news about Alexander McQueen, franticly twittering and cell phoning away before the show started.
We love, love, love this collection!
Too cool for School–check it out.
