"I love the excitement, the glamour, the buzz, the sweetness of it all," said actress Helen Mirren of the The Tony Awards, the most prestigious awards ceremony that celebrates the best of Broadway. The night was especially exciting for Mirren, as she took home the Best Actress award for her role in "The Audience." "It means meeting old friends. It means meeting new friends. It means a huge celebration of Broadway, and I love Broadway," she enthused.

It was the 69th Annual Tony Awards and the Masters of Ceremonies were past Tony-winners Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming. They were also joined by presenter Bryan Cranston. "Last year I was nominated, and I was crazily nervous. This year, I'm just presenting, so the nerves are gone and I can actually talk to people," laughed Cranston, who won last year for lead actor in a play for his performance as President Lyndon B. Johnson in the historical drama "All the Way."

Other Tony's 2015 attending celebrities included Kendall Jenner, Bradley Cooper, Anna Wintour, Jennifer Lopez, and Taye Diggs, who told us he's excited about taking on the role of Hedwig in "Hedwig and The Angry Inch" later this summer. "It's going to be the role of lifetime, so I've really gotta get it together!" he joked.

In celebration of its 10-year anniversary on Broadway, the cast of Jersey Boys, performed "Oh What A Night," which captured the feeling of all those in attendance. "The Tony's mean everything. Really! The theater is my first love and it really means a lot to me," actress Debra Messing told us.
