The 2015 Emmys have come and gone, leaving a surprising number of flattering, easy-to-wear trends in its wake. Here, the top five looks you can easily work into your fashion repertoire.

Chains/Hardwear Effects:

Taraji P. Henson rocked this edgy accent, which adds a grown-up rocker-effect to any gown. Her Alexander Wang gown also incorporated the keyhole effect, another major runway trend.

Claire Danes, Sofia Vergara, and Christina Hendricks owned the trend, which gives an otherwise basic silhouette a pop of personality.

Off the shoulder:

Also seen in a big way at NYFW, this is the trend of the evening. Embraced by Jessica Lange, Sarah Hyland, Julie Bowen, Sarah Paulson, and Natasha Lyonne, the silhouette flatters all body types and ages.

The New Black:

The classic hue got a modern makeover with twists like asymmetric cuts and halter necklines, as seen on Jamie Curtis and Amy Poehler.

Shades of pink:

Hot pink took center stage but managed to avoid looking overly sweet with styling touches like slicked back hair and pared down makeup. See: Jessica Paré and Elisabeth Moss.

Other trends to hit the runway included: Pants, solid colors (especially teal), sweetheart necklines and kaleidoscope stripes.
