Every Fall season the, Red Dress Collection helps kick off NYFW with equal parts fun and philanthropy. The event raises awareness for women's heart disease; one thousand women lose their battle with it every single day. Here, a few of the celebrity models describe what they like best about the event.

"Oh my god, a bunch of gorgeous, glamorous women in red dresses. I tend to walk in really high heels!"
-Debbie Gibson, Musician and Performer

"There are so many reasons I wanted to be a part of Go Red this year. My father had a heart attack two years ago, and it's not an issue that just applies to men. This is a very real and very scary disease."
Gail Simons, Top Chef

"I had heart surgery about eight years ago, and being a part of this wonderful evening, that we can bring awareness to women. I say take care of your heart. Not only for yourself, but for your loved ones."
Florence Henderson, The Brady Bunch

"Seeing my friends and remembering to help other people and maybe have them listen to their bodies."
Marilu Henner, Actress

Yigal Azroul launched his first collection in 1998. Within two years he began participating in NYFW and opened a full-service showroom. Today his freestanding boutique stands on West 14th Street and he has been inducted into the CFDA. Not bad for a man with no formal fashion training! Here's what fashion's elite had to say about this season's showing:

"He always does something different than everybody else. He doesn't care about the trends. The lacing on the dressses with the big grommets. I think that was very modern and very European in style and that it something different to bring to an American show."
Sarah Gore Reeves, Fashion Editor/Stylist, Vogue Mexico & Latin Americas

"I wanted to see what it was about. You still want to be put together. I remember when I was pregnant and I saw moms with four kids and thought they were amazing!"
Coco Rocha, model

"He sent down the perfect suede trench coat. The perfect suede trench coat! Here that girls? Gotta have it!"
Stephanie Solomon, Fashion Director, Lord & Taylor
