Spring is in the air...out there. But inside, your home may not have caught up with the shift in seasons. So it's time to toss the cozy evergreen potpourri and refresh your rooms by infusing outdoor fragrances indoors -- and it's easier than you think, according to Style Expert Rachel Zalis.

"Now, one of the things I love most is layering fragrance in your home," says Rachel, "Air Wick has the new Life Scents Collection. It's absolutely beautiful and it's a great way to create a mood and a personality in your home. My personal favorite is the Lush Hideaway. It has scents in it that I absolutely love like wild berry, fresh mint, coconut water... This takes me back to a time where I'm on the beach really relaxing." Plus, there's no chance of being overwhelmed by one overpowering scent because each of the three Life Scents options layers three scents within it. "And it's just a great way to add an accessory to your house, using fragrance without spending a lot of money," adds Rachel, noting that you can pick up a Life Scent for just $4.99 at retailers nationwide like Walmart.

Other ways to pull off a seasonal refresh? Try a tranquil tablescape. Rachel suggests, "Run a table runner across your dining room table. Put things in a cluster that you've collected, maybe some vases and jars [and] things from the beach like rocks and shells and driftwood, fresh flowers..." And if you're thinking of doing any entertaining, Rachel says a good scent to complete the atmosphere is Turquoise Oasis from the Air Wick Life Scents collection. "I love the Turquoise Oasis," says Rachel, "It's very calming and relaxing."

And you don't have to stop at your dining room table. Updating your coffee table with a springtime motif is easy, too. For this, Rachel advises, "Take a tray, layer some beautiful coffee table books, maybe some baubles or tokens you've picked up along the way in your travels, fresh flowers, and again, an amazing fragrance." Rachel's favorite for the family room? "Summer Delights from Air Wick," she tells us, "It's a really happy, joyful scent."

Not sure which kind of scent you want to run with this Spring? Rachel recommends ScentDecorator.com... "It's a great site to help you figure out how to plan your mood for your home."
