Designer Phillip Lim, Chef Dominique Crenn and Tap Dancer Savion Glover Co-Host LG Signature Launch Event in Rockefeller Center

Consumers can enjoy fashion, food and art experiences from October 6th - 10th at the LG Signature Gallery

LG Electronics rolled out the red carpet in New York's Rockefeller Center to launch their first-ever ultra premium collection of stylish home appliances and electronics called LG Signature.

"We open up the transparent gallery to the media over the next four days the consumers can come down take a look at what's in the gallery," said Dave VanderWaal, VP Marketing, Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances, LG Electronics, "It's about a signature style statement and we believe that's what discerning consumers are really trying to get to. What is my signature mark?"

Renowned tastemakers including fashion designer Phillip Lim, Chef Dominique Crenn and choreographer Savion Glover came to celebrate, showcasing their own signature style.

"You know everything I do is from; especially cooking is from memories so it's nice to have a product like this because it just connects me to what I do," said the chef.

Savion Glover's signature style? His widely acclaimed dance routine. The biggest wow factor is how truly dynamic these appliances are.

"Each and every LG Signature product was designed with its true essence in mind and streamlined to focus on its sensor function," explained William Cho, President and CEP, LG Electronics USA.

"The LG Signature refrigerator it's such an innovation. I was amazed how functional and beautiful the fridge, the refrigerator is, said Crenn, "So you could see yourself, you could see what's going on inside. You can even open it with your, with your feet. It's crazy, it's amazing."

"I have a lot of laundry and to be able to do two load at once," said the Glover, "I'm sure my son would be thrilled."
