Survey says... One in four moms have less than 30 minutes to get dinner on the table. It's enough to make a mom want to pack up the family and head straight to the nearest fill-in-the-blank fast food drive-thru. But Lifestyle Expert Amy Goodman says fast food of a healthier variety can happen at home.

Swap out French Fries for Pot Pies

Don't Mini Chicken Pot Pies sound just delightful...and really hard to make? Amy says they're not -- just scrap the idea of starting from scratch and rely on refrigerated dough to help you pick up the pace. Amy's go-to doughs are from Pillsbury. "They're very versatile and make mealtime much easier for families," she says. To make mini pot pies Pillsbury-style, start with their Grands! Biscuit refrigerated dough, mold it into baking cups, scoop in your chicken pot pie filling and then bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Amy says it's a delicious, hot and savory dinner that will make your family go "Wow," adding, "And I go 'Wow' with the ease of its preparation." Disguise your Veggies in Deliciousness

Here are some more startling stats for you... A third of parents forget about or don't even include vegetables at dinner when they're in a time crunch, though 83% of those same parents say that dinner isn't complete without them. To up your veggie count come dinnertime, Amy suggests you warm up to the idea of frozen vegetable options. For instance, Green Giant Steamers... "They're very simple to use. You simply pop them into the microwave and steam them up in mere minutes, and before you know it, there are lots of creative go-to weekly meal ideas in which you can use them."

Getting your kids on board with veggies in general can be another story... But a quick and easy pasta dish -- think box of spaghetti and sauce from a jar -- provides a perfect hiding spot for vegetables. Of Green Giant's 25 varieties of Steamers, Amy opts for adding their Market Blend vegetables to her sauce. Amy suggests, "Maybe you add some new spices, maybe you try a new sauce, and before you know it, you have a delicious Spaghetti-Veggie Bolognese."
