'Tis the season for football fun, holiday parties and lots of shopping. To help make celebrating just a little bit easier we caught up with actress, Giants fan and busy new mom Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

"I am here to kick off the holiday season with the NFL, and what better way to do it then with ice-skating, amazing NFL gear and maybe a cup of hot chocolate?" says Sigler.

A Mom and A Fan

"Jamie-Lynn Sigler was the perfect host for our event," says Agaja Reddy, Director Consumer Products, National Football League. "She's an authentic Giants fan and has home-gating parties at her place every single week, so she is a passionate mom who buys for an entire family including herself. She's done a great job voicing her passion."

Sigler lives in LA, but her allegiance is to the New York teams. "I like to wear things that represent New York and represent me and who I am. Wearing things that are stylish and cute, not just for the holidays but all year round is important to me," says the native New Yorker.

Hostess-With-The-Mostess

This football fan spends game days open-house-style cooking all day for her guests. "Every Sunday everyone knows we have an open door," says the actress. "Everyone's coming in, I'm cooking all day. I'm also a huge fan of theme parties so all the home-gating items are huge. I love crockpots and chip bowls that are helmets-- all those cute touches that make people feel like celebrating."

Life Lessons

So what is she up to when she's not hosting parties or holiday shopping? "This has been a big year for me. I got married; I came forward with my MS diagnosis," says Sigler.

The actress advises not letting your illness define you. "I have a movie coming out in 2017 called Justice and hopefully I'll be able to do more acting, which I love," she says.

Like many moms, Sigler struggles most with balancing being a mom and having a career. "You need the break, you want the break, you want to do what fulfills you but you also feel really awful being away from your child," says the mom of 3-year old son Beau.

It's all about balance. "I want him to know trust and safety and loving from other people other than his mommy and daddy. I think it's an important lesson for all of us to learn," she says.

Fan Favorites

From game days to gift giving, Sigler shows that the NFL's got you covered. "I think stuff from the NFL is perfect for anyone on your list because everyone's a fan of someone," she says. "You know, everyone's from somewhere. I think anytime you can show your hometown pride it's great. There are things for my son, cute onesies for babies, and stuff for my husband."

You can shop for everyone on your list at NFLShop.com.
