With just a little research it's easy to find the perfect gift for the dad or grad in your life. Here are some top picks...

Here Comes The Groom

When guys go to the drugstore they're likely to get overwhelmed by all of the choices when it comes to haircare. Now, Old Spice has solved that problem. The brand has been in business for nearly 80 years, and have shampoos and conditioners down. "But what's really cool is they've simplified the hair sculpting category," says grooming expert Clint Carter. "Instead of too many pomades and pastes and putties and wax fibers, everything is streamlined. There's a code on every label so you can tell whether or not the product is for long hair, short hair...if it's for a shiny or matte finish. You name it."

Eye Dos

"On the fashion front I want to talk about a brand called Zenni Optical. They are an online, affordable premium prescription eyewear brand and the frames are all under $50," says Carter. Right now Zenni Optical has a promotion where they're giving away one million dollars worth of frames to the graduates of the class of 2016. Between now and June 30th, anybody who goes online can be registered to receive a pair of glasses. Just put on Instagram a selfie of yourself wearing a cap and gown holding your diploma and use the #classofzenni and #promo and you will be entered to receive a pair.

The Gift Of Fragrance

Another option for the dad or grad in your life? Fragrance. Cologne is a classic gift for men--one that they rarely buy themselves. "Nautica Voyage Sport has a really good new fragrance for summer. It's not too heavy, it's masculine, it's got notes of sea salt and citrus and musk and patchouli,"says Carter.

It's available for $62.50 at Macy's or Nautica retail stores.

Perfect Pairings

Finally, consider Mark West California Pinot Noir as an excellent gift. "This is a really excellent, medium-bodied wine with notes of spice and dark fruit and smoky oak. What's great about this is it cost only $10 or $11 and I promise it tastes like it costs a lot more than that," says Carter. An interesting idea: Mark West pairing with celebrity chef Jeff Morrow to make some wine recipes, such as a wine-marinated tenderlion and a wine-infused ice cream, both of which use the California Pinot Noir. Give one a try.

"A really cool idea for dad this year would be to buy one bottle to drink and one bottle so you can make one of these recipes. Really good pairing, really good presentation. And a gift that is really going to make dad happy," Carter says.
