Groundhog Day is right around the corner. This year have a little extra fun with the day with these four ways to celebrate.

Tune in to Find out if Punxsutawney Phil Sees His Shadow
Groundhog Day is every February 2nd. This year it falls on a Wednesday. Catch the live stream, or head to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania in Gobbler’s Knob, to see if Punxsutawney Phil predicts six more weeks of winter.

Make a Sweet Treat: Groundhog Dirt Dessert

Ingredients:
2 cups cold milk
1 (4 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (16 ounce) package chocolate wafers or chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
8 Craft sticks with groundhog drawings or cookie of your choice to decorate as a groundhog with icing
8 serving cups

Instructions:
-Beat milk and pudding mix together in a bowl until well blended and slightly thickened, then let stand to thicken about 5 minutes.
-Stir whipped topping and 1/2 of the crushed cookies into pudding. Spoon 1 tablespoon of crushed cookies into each serving cup. Fill each cup 3/4-full with pudding mixture, then top with remaining crushed cookies. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
-Glue your groundhog drawing onto a craft stick and place it in the cookie dirt.

Play Groundhog Games
Have some fun with the day by making a game out of it. You can play Groundhog Day Bingo, quiz each other on groundhog trivia, or take bets on whether Punxsutawney Phil will see his shadow or not.

Watch the Classic Movie
Of course, Groundhog Day is not complete without watching the movie Groundhog Day. The 1993 film starring Bill Murray is a must-see you can watch over and over and over again each year.
