Last night Broadway’s best strut their acting chops down the red carpet before the 67th annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall and we were there to catch all the theatrics go down.

Patina Miller, the star of Pippin, stunned in Zac Posen and cleaned up claiming the Tony for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for her role as the Leading Player in Pippin (which won Best Revival of a Musical).

Sigourney Weaver, who originates the role of Masha in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (which took home Best Play) looked elegant preshow and later presented Best Revival of a Play to the Steppenwolf Theatre Co.’s production of Edward Albee’s “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”

No stranger to the lime light, Condola Rashad, daughter of former NFL player, Ahmad Rashad (her date last night) and Phylicia Rashad (yes Clair Huxtable on the Cosby Show) was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role for the The Trip to Bountiful. Unfortunately she didn’t steal the Tony but she DID look like a winner in an eggplant toned Pamela Rolland gown and jewls.

Broadway vet, Alan Cumming presented side by side Scarlett Johansson, the Tony for Best Featured Actor in a Musical to Gabriel Ebert for “Matilda.”

And it was all smiles and jokes on the red carpet from Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, both big winners last night for their flamboyant new musical Kinky Boots, which took Best Musical and Best Original Score.

Interior Designer, Antony Todd’s Hot Home Finds

March 26, 2013  |  HOME & FAMILY  |  , , , , , , ,  |  Comments Off on Interior Designer, Antony Todd’s Hot Home Finds

Over the weekend we hit the 12th annual Architectural Digest Home Design Show in New York City to catch up with Interior Designer, Antony Todd and get the scoop on his faves from the show.

Starting in the kitchen Todd stops at Jenn-Air where he loves the “high-geared and technical” innovative design of their sleek stainless-steal ventilator which with a press of a button disappears into the counter. We love their steam oven which has a function to make your own yogurt!

Next up, for the dining room Todd points out the beautiful look of the contemporary yet classical marble and aluminum table and chair set by Karkula.
And for the rest of your rooms Todd recommends warm lighting and soft textiles. These little touches can give any space a comforting and inviting feel.
