From a label synonymous with refined elegance to an ultra-girly staple to a don't-mess-with-me girl's go-to, NYFW Spring 2016 brings down the curtain.

The fashion flock weighs in on Day 7's fabulous fahion and beauty looks.

Red carpet nirvana. That's what starlets such as Winona Ryder, Teri Hatcher and the Olsen twins have achieved thanks to the label, which is known for it's romantic, glamorous gowns and bridal fare. Founded by (romantic and) business partners Mark Badgley and James Mischka, the label was born 1988 and has been Vogue-approved ever since. Note: They designed the wedding dress worn by Charlotte York on Sex And The City; an iconic bridal moment if there ever was one.

"We were looking at these travel posters from the '50s and the favorite destination in our minds is Buenos Aires. It's a combination of European and Latin sensibilities. It's of course known as the Paris of South America, and really inspired the whole collection.

People think you need the little black dress that is a must-have This is the little black dress that is the real must-have."

James Mischka, designer

"She was so international, so chic, and sensual but tailored at the same time.

It's modern, it's that combination which I think is nice. It's not just vintage, vintage, vintage."

Mark Badgley, designer

"You look feminine and feel beautiful and that's what I love about them."

Kelly Killoren Bensimon, socialite

"Each piece is artisanly made, it's individual, it's one of a kind."

The Ohio native, who launched her super-feminine line in 1992, sticks to her winning formula of bright colors (think hot pink and turquoise) to anchor her shows, and this season is no exception. Bonus: Her creations are, as ever, handcrafted in New York.

"It's very different from her past shows. I like it. "

Kate Mulgrew, actress, Orange is the New Black

"I've always wanted to throw a big party. A lot of beautiful sleeves. The colors are a gradient of a pale pink up to a hot orange. And the same thing with pale blue to hot turquoise. There's just a hit of color on the eyes to give it that 'the arsty girl goes to an art opening' look. And then sort of low side part which I love."

Scene: Diesel Black Gold

In the simplest terms, Black Gold embodies the already-edgy Diesel girl as she sits on a souped-up motorcycle. Launched in 2008 at NYFW, the brand is an offshoot of Italian denim powerhouse Diesel, which was founded in 1978. A highly successful fragrance line, in partnership with L'Oreal, soon followed.

"What brings me here? To see the show and wear this cool outfit."

Bella Thorne, actress

"We started with the idea of a girl wearing her boyfriend's shirt as a dress and layered an iconic biker jacket and other pieces on top of it. The palette is very black and white, the silhouette is playing with new volumes, construction. So she's definitely playing into the masculine but there's a lot of injection of delicate touches like with the macrame and embroideries. So there's a whole new identity. Embroideries and more feminine things, so the idea of denim in an abstract way. To make a denim work wear item to then transform it into wool or leather gave it a whole new identity."

Andreas Melbostad, Creative Director of Diesel Black Gold

"Diesel is known for jeans and everyday stuff so this is where they get to jazz it up and really go fashion."
