Pentatonix has sold more than 2.8 million albums in the U.S. and amassed 1.4 billion views on their YouTube channel. Their schedules are incredibly hectic. To stay healthy they've teamed up with Ricola for their grueling 2016 tour. Here's how they keep their voices fresh and healthy.

On Staying Rested and Inspired

We are so excited, we have so much stuff coming up. We have a Christmas album, we're going on a world tour which is sponsored by Ricola, and we are are doing a whole video series, which you can see it at RicolaPTX.com. Mostly we are just trying to stay rested and make it through this tour.

We are so grateful being on the road because at this point in our lives this is the time that we need to be traveling, seeing stuff. And all the fans all over the world are so sweet, and getting to meet them all has been amazing.

The five of us have very different taste in music. We are all inspired by each other. People will come to rehearsal with music and songs that we've never heard before and it will kind of inspire us. And then the five of us improvise. That's how we come up with our arrangements. It's a really cool process.

On Life On The Road

Being on the road is cool. I feel like we all really enjoy it and we're all really used to it by now because we've done it so much. It's difficult to stay rested as you were saying because we're relying on our vocals the entire time so it's really cool that we can have Ricola sponsor something so important to us. Health is very important and it's nice to have that product around because we are obsessed with it.

I had a moment the other night when I was like, I can't believe this is our life. So much good has happened for us. It's been a wild ride but we're really happy.
-Mitch Grassi, lead vocalist
