Celebrity adored designer Pamella Roland commemorated 20 years in the fashion biz at the debut of her collection at New York Fashion Week on Monday. The Spring/Summer 2023 line was an ode to New York, where the designer known for her couture evening wear is based.
“This is a pretty big moment for me," the designer told us. "It just hit me, 20 years of doing this. We have come a long way with a lot of ups and downs." The designer shared this was her first show since the pandemic. "It’s kind of New York coming out, us coming out 20 years. We’re going to have fun today," she said.
Julianne Hough, Vanessa Williams, Coco Rocha, Nicky Hilton, Nigel Barker, Jeannie Mai Jenkins, and more turned out to celebrate two decades of Pamella’s gorgeous gowns.
“My Oscar dress and Tony dress this year was both Pamella Roland,” exclaimed Julianne Hough.
“I wore her when I got my Hollywood Walk of Fame star, and I've been using her ever since," said Vanessa Williams. "We became friends. She’s a lovely woman," Williams added. "Always has amazing style, elegance, and elevated, great finishes. The stuff is well made.”
“I am so in love with her gowns. They are so beautiful," remarked longtime fan, Nicky Hilton. "The fit, the sparkle, the glamour. I love it."
