Kate Beckinsale Stuns in Surprise Walk Down Runway for Naeem Khan NYFW Spring 2023 Collection

Fashion week kicked off at the Indian-American designer’s runway show marked by stunning eveningwear

Kate Beckinsale stole the show when she made a surprise stroll down the runway at the Spring 2023 show of Naeem Khan at Sony Hall for New York Fashion Week. The Indian-American designer known for dressing Michelle Obama, Kate Middleton, and many more displayed 47 looks ranging from a sequin jumpsuit to a floral jacquard ballgown. Beckinsale wore a gunmetal metallic sequin long sleeve, hi-neck crop top with a matching skirt with illusion detail.

In the audience, Ryan Seacrest and Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu. “I liked the versatility of every outfit,” said the former Miss Universe.

Avril Graham, Executive Fashion & Beauty Editor at Harper's Bazaar, also in attendance, praised Khan after the show. “He’s one of those designers that are larger than life. That’s the thing he gives us, the joy of dressing up again," said the editor.

Graham also noted it was a sad day for Brits with the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. “We all feel like we lost our grandma,” she said. The surprise appearance by fellow Brit Beckinsale helped provide a moment of joy. "In a time of mourning, it was just nice to have something a little bit more fun," said Graham.
