For his Spring/Summer 2023 line, Kevan Hall drew from a recent trip to Todos Santos, Mexico, where he mingled with the community of local artisans and admired the multi-colored walls of his friend’s boutique hotel. The Detroit-born designer displayed his collection, which he called “an exuberance and an explosion of color,” at New York Fashion Week last Tuesday.
The silhouettes were clean and modern and saturated in colors, from fuchsia, yellow, azure, and violet. Sarong dresses and jumpsuits gave a beachy and exotic feel to the collection. Hall says every woman should take home a caftan. “There’s nothing more luxurious and comfortable,” said the designer.
This season also saw the launch of his capsule handbag and belt collection. The bags are made of the finest Italian leather, with perforated details and the signature KH shape and logo.
