NWFW Spring 2014 / ICB by Prabal Gurung
Easy, breezy, but slightly structural
From the LifeMInute team
ICB by Prabal Gurung's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week spring 2014 collectino is a color wheel, ranging from structural white ensembles and verdant green pantsuits to whispy fuchsia frocks.
Some showstopping looks include; an all white, some with pale metallic silver accents, and paired with clean white platform sneakers--a look that felt fresh, sporty, and appealing, both with dresses and jacket-sweatpant combos, like blue and white printed anoraks, simple cropped sweatshirts, and an awesome fuchsia tulip dress with a cascading top, a range of cool fuchsia trapeze-like dresses, an organza crop top, cocoon dress, and shift dress, all adorned with subtle but still noticeable white pailettes.
As for hair-- it was all about the untouched look...
"It's a fun look. It's the type of hair that's fun and very easy. It's my homage to festival hair. It's very unkempt .. very cool .. very easy .. and it just nods toward fun. I'm trying to give the impression that these girls have been dancing for days and haven't washed their hair .. very rough center part .. using my fingers, no combs no brushes and and whatever happens, happens. I'm just letting it be," says Anthony Turner, Hair Stylist.
