Only 10% of the US population trust that pharmaceutical companies are honest and ethical. This is why Dr. Jennifer Miller, Founder and President of the NY-based nonprofit, Bioethics International and the Good Pharma Scorecard created the index, which ranks large pharmaceutical companies and every new FDA approved drug on key ethics, human rights, and public health criteria. This year the Good Pharma Scorecard focuses on clinical trial transparency and found that only two companies out of eleven, Johnson & Johnson and Sanofi, were fully transparent when it came to disclosing all of their clinical trial results.
