A new wearable is putting blood pressure insights at your fingertips. Signal Ring is a smart ring designed to track blood pressure throughout the day and night without a traditional arm cuff, while also monitoring sleep, heart rate, and other wellness metrics.

LifeMinute.TV Lifestyle Editor and lifestyle expert, Joann Butler caught up with Signal Ring co-founder and CEO Tom Moss and health journalist Liz Baker Plosser to learn more.

For Moss, the technology was inspired by a personal health scare after severe, undiagnosed hypertension landed him in the emergency room.

“You don’t feel blood pressure,” Moss explained, emphasizing the importance of better understanding a condition often called the “silent killer.”

Plosser shared how the ring has helped her recognize the impact of everyday habits, including strength training, quality sleep, connecting with loved ones, and practicing deep breathing during stressful moments.

“I’ve also been so heartened and motivated about how my daily healthy habits make such a big difference, not only in how I feel, but also in my blood pressure,” she said.

Moss also discovered that sauna sessions had a surprisingly significant impact on his own blood pressure, noting that everyone’s response to activities like exercise and coffee can be different.

Signal Ring is available for $399 at SignalRing.com, with no monthly subscription required. HSA and FSA funds may also be used for eligible purchases.

Joann Butler, Lifestyle Editor: Hi, guys. Well, a new wearable is helping people better understand how everyday life experiences, sleep, stress, exercise, even your morning coffee may line up with your blood pressure. I'm joined with Tom Moss, co-founder and CEO of Signal Ring, this fabulous new ring and health journalist Liz Plosser to tell us all about it. Tom Moss, Co-founder & CEO, Signal Ring: So, Signal Ring is a wearable.

It's a smart ring that you put on your finger, and it helps you keep track of your blood pressure all day and night, and also keep track of activities that you do morning coffee, lunch, going out for a jog, and looks at other signals like how long you've slept, your HRV, your heart rate puts all that together to give you context around the interplay between your daily decisions and habits, and your blood pressure. Seeing this interplay is really important because you don't feel blood pressure. And this actually, it's why it's known as a silent killer, because you don't feel it literally all the way until a very bad event. And that's what happened to me.

So I had severe undiagnosed hypertension, and I didn't find out until I was taken to the emergency room. And then when I wanted to figure out what I could do, in my daily life and habits to improve it, I really found there was no tool that would help me track it and really help me make those right decisions. Joann Butler, Lifestyle Editor: And it's so lightweight. Liz, what's your experience with it?

I know you've been using it a bit. Liz Plosser, Health Journalist: This has been so incredibly valuable in my life because it's just constantly tracking in the background, what's going on so I can make sure things are staying on course. And I've also been so heartened and motivated about how my daily healthy habits make such a big difference, not only in how I feel, but also in my blood pressure. So things like strength training regularly, protecting my sleep, prioritizing connecting with my friends and my family, and also using deep breathing exercises when I'm navigating a stressful moment.

Tom Moss, Co-founder & CEO, Signal Ring: I've learned that, sauna, for me personally, actually has massive impact on my blood pressure. Much more than I expected. So everybody's different. What changes blood pressure from one person to another?

How they react to coffee, for example... exercise...it's all unique to each individual. But for me personally, sauna was just tremendous. And so that's something I try and do at least five times a week now. Joann Butler, Lifestyle Editor: So, Tom, tell us where we can get it.

Tom Moss, Co-founder & CEO, Signal Ring: So you can purchase it on our website. SignalRing.com it is a one time purchase $399. There's no monthly fee. No subscription.

And you can apply HSA FSA funds towards that as well. Joann Butler, Lifestyle Editor: Awesome! Money well spent folks. SignalRing.com 399.

Get your hands on it or I should say get your finger on it.
