Celebrate Your Beauty Legacy...and Pass It On!
It's time to #FeelBeautifulFor the next generation of women

The United Nations provided the perfect setting for women to unite in an effort to pass on their positive beauty legacies to the next generation at the 5th Annual Dove Self-Esteem Weekend.
So how exactly does that work? Dove Global Self-Esteem Ambassador Jess Weiner explains, "The girls are talking about how they're changing Beauty Legacy and what they're going to do to pay it forward in their community and [with] the women in their lives."
And to get the conversation going, Dove enlisted the help of strong, confident, beautiful women, like Radio Personality Angie Martinez who shared with the girls in attendance, "Beauty comes from how you carry yourself and what you represent and what you have to say. Once you get confident, you realize, 'Wow, I can do so much more. Wow, I'm capable [of] so much more than I thought.'"
Added Body Image Role Model and "Gabi Fresh" Blogger Gabi Gregg, "Beauty Legacy is all about showing women that beauty is not one size fits all; you can be any size and feel gorgeous and feel happy in your skin."
But not all girls are feeling gorgeous and happy in their own skin -- in fact, a staggering majority are feeling overwhelmed, according to Dove's Jennifer Bremner. "72% of girls feel tremendous pressure to be beautiful -- that's not acceptable," said the Director of Marketing, "Dove is really committed to reaching girls with self-esteem education. We've reached 14 million to date, and we're well on our way to reaching 15 million by the year 2015."
The latest innovation in self-esteem education? The new Dove Legacy campaign, launched in conjunction with the weekend event, which empowers anyone and everyone to make a positive impact on a girl's self-esteem by sharing with the world what beauty means to you. Getting involved is as easy as logging onto Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and joining the conversation by using the hashtag #FeelBeautifulFor.
