Hosting the holidays this year doesn't have to mean constant cleaning and endless prep. Lifestyle expert Amy Goodman shares tips and helpful hints to hosting without a hitch.

Turn to Tech When it Comes to Cleaning

To make sure your house is as clean as possible for guests using the latest innovation in cleaning can make it all the more easier. Amy loves Swiffer and Bissell new Steamboost, a steam mob that utilizes the power behind Bissell and innovation behind Swiffer to deeply clean your floors," she says.

How it works? "The steam heat actually activates the dirt dissolving solution in the cleaning pads to breakdown dirt, trap it and lock it away making for a visibly better clean," says Amy.

The best news...purchase between November 24th and the end of the year and you can qualify for a $15 mail in rebate. Making the already under $50 product even more affordable and not to mention a great gift idea. For more info go to Swiffer.com/rebate.

Mix Up the Tabletop

Try out paper placemats...yes paper! With tons available in fabulous festive designs this year no one will know that they're actually disposable and clean up will be that much easier. Plus Amy says if you flip them over and throw some washable crayons and markers on the table, kids can have a crafting session right there. Also mix and match your place settings with various dishes you already have, and if you don't have enough settings, ask friends and family to bring some over for an eclectic tabletop.

Serve it Up Buffet Style

"If you have some guests that have allergies or certain eating preferences this way they will definitely have something to eat and something to share as well," says Amy.

Beverage Bar

Set it up in a corner of your home other than the dining room or kitchen so guests will congregate in other rooms and have great conversations.
