She’s a singer, songwriter, and spiritual healer helping others cope in a crisis, and he’s the legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Famer drummer for the band Def Leppard. The husband and wife duo met several years ago through a mutual friend who suggested Rick work with Lauren to help him through his struggles with PTSD, which he suffered from a car crash that led to the loss of his left arm at the height of his band’s fame. Since then, the couple has dedicated their lives to helping others through their Raven Drum Foundation, the non-profit that supports veterans, first responders, and others going through trauma, giving them the tools they need to heal. All the while, Lauren and Rick continue to share their musical and other creative gifts---they play together and have been touring all across the country with her band. In 2021, Lauren's second album, Under the Wolf Moon, was released. Her latest single, "Kiss Me Now," is her first 2022 release. Lauren's also got another album due out this Fall, filled with one uplifting, beautiful track after another - that you won't be able to get out of your head.

Rick and Def Leppard will be touring the country this summer with Mötley Crüe, Joan Jett, and Poison, and their latest album Diamond Star Halos will be released in May. Rick is also an accomplished visual artist with works at Wentworth Galleries across the country and proceeds benefiting their foundation. We were so fortunate to have them grace our studio recently to share their story and play an acoustic set of Lauren’s latest works. This is a LifeMinute with Lauren Monroe and Rick Allen.
