Adele announces hiatus from music following Las Vegas Residency
The 36-year-old musician shared the news of her upcoming break at a recent performance in Munich, Germany, saying “I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now. I want to live my life that I've been building, and I will miss you terribly.” The announcement comes shortly before her final 10 performances in her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace, where she has regularly performed since November 2022.

Booster broke the news of the engagement via social media on Saturday, sharing a photo of himself down on one knee in front of Sudsina while vacationing in Jeju Island, South Korea, writing “Vacation boyfriend —-> Vacation husband. Try to be normal about this.”
Actor James Darren dies at 88
The actor was best known for his role as Moondoggie in the 1959 film Gidget, but also starred in other notable television shows such as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and T.J. Hooker throughout his career. His role in Gidget also successfully launched him into the music business after he recorded the film’s iconic theme song, later releasing 14 albums of his own and earning a hit gold record with 1961’s “Goodbye Cruel World.” He reportedly passed away in his sleep at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Rapper Fatman Scoop dies at 53 after collapsing onstage
The Grammy award-winning rapper and hype man passed away following an onstage incident Friday night in which he collapsed during a performance in Hamden, Connecticut. His passing was confirmed in an Instagram statement made by family, writing “FatMan Scoop’s legacy is of love and brightness, it will reside in our hearts and memories forever.” Throughout the course of his career, the ionic entertainer worked with stars such as Lil Jon, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Pitbull, and Mariah Carey, releasing a variety of beloved songs and music videos, including his own 1999 hit “Be Faithful.”
Dawson’s Creek actor Obi Ndefo dies at 51
Ndefo’s passing was revealed in a Facebook post made by his sister Nkem, writing “Heartbroken at the loss of my younger brother and knowing he’s finally at peace.” She later revealed further details about what caused the actor's passing, describing his struggle with orthorexia, a type of eating disorder. The family now hopes to raise awareness for the disease and other eating disorders in his memory. Ndefo was best known for his recurring roles on Dawson’s Creek and Stargate SG-1.
