October 1 is National Pumpkin Spice Day
Spooky season is officially here and with that comes everyone’s fan favorite Fall flavor. Pumpkin spice is an Autumn classic and can be used in a variety of foods and drinks to celebrate the special day. Despite its name, pumpkin spice does not contain any pumpkin, it’s actually a blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice, so it’s easy to make at home. Whether you add it to your coffee by making your own classic pumpkin spice latte or bake it into a pumpkin pie to enhance those unique fall flavors, celebrate the holiday by trying out something new. It may just become a seasonal staple in your home.

National Taco Day is also celebrated
Celebrated yearly on the first “Taco Tuesday” of October, National Taco Day is a great excuse to indulge in your favorite local taco joint. Taco lovers can catch a variety of special deals today from locations such as Taco Bell, where rewards members can grab $1 tacos starting at 1PM ET, Taco John's, where their Bigger Bolder Rewards loyalty program members can snag a free Beef Stuffed Grilled Taco with any purchase, Baja Fresh, who from now until Friday is offering buy-one-get-one-free tacos and taco combos with online orders for rewards members, and On The Border, who is offering endless Tacos for $10 now through October 13.
