Every year, the beauty department of Women's Health magazine tests hundreds of products for the coveted Beauty Awards special issue. A whopping 74 beauty products--from sunscreen and body wash to hair tamers and anti-aging elixirs--were highlighted for their excellence. "It wasn't just about finding the best lipstick or the best hairspray. It was about finding the products for every single one of life's special, social moments," says Women's Health Beauty Editor Jill Percia. Here, she shares her four favorites from the award-winning round up.

"The most important thing we tell our readers to do every day is to apply sunscreen, whether it's rainy or sunny out," says Percia. The best sunscreen: La Roche Posay Anthelios AOX Daily Antioxidant Serum SPF 50. "Now, of course it's terrific because it has that SPF 50, but it also contains a high-potency antioxidant complex of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Baicalin to further prevent fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, and even improve skin's texture," she explains.

2. Clear Scalp and Hair Active Damage Resist Shampoo And Conditioner
"As women, we have a love affair with things like flat irons and curling irons that make our hair look gorgeous, but, unfortunately, can cause a little bit of damage," says Percia. To help undo that damage, she swears by Clear Scalp and Hair Active Damage Resist Shampoo and Conditioner. "This combo is great because it contains an omega complex of vitamins to nourish your scalp and really strengthen and repair those strands. And it has an amazing scent--you'll love the way that your hair smells," she explains.

3. Degree Women Dry Spray in Peach Burst
"It's important to smell fresh and feel fresh all the time, but especially when you're at the gym," says Percia. The awards goes to Degree Women Dry Spray in Peach Burst thanks to its unique motion-sense technology. "This means it releases more protection, the harder you work, and it lasts for up to 48 hours. Speaking of workouts, Women's Health magazine is partnering with celebrity trainer Chris Powell for a Degree Get Moving Fitness challenge that's kicking off on July 1st, so you'll want to join us for that as well," adds Percia.

4. COVERGIRL Full Lash Bloom Mascara
Getting the top spot for Best After-Hours Dramatic Mascara: COVERGIRL Full Lash Bloom Mascara. "It's wand is unique because it gets really close to the lash base and helps you get that gorgeous, fanned out, dramatic look," explains Percia.
