Jennifer Garner Talks Healthy Skincare

Superstar Jennifer Garner is shining a light on sun safety. As a longtime ambassador of Neutrogena products, Garner is championing the cause with the same fortitude as her Alias character Sidney Bristow.

"I've had the priviledge of being a part of the "Choose Skin Health Campaign" which exists to fight skin cancer and save lives through education, early detection, and empowerment to follow sun safe behaviors. Since this campaign launched in 2009 we have diagnosed more than 1,000 cases of skin cancer this is a milestone I am very proud to be part of but I know we need to do more," said Garner.

Environmental changes have made the sun a colossal threat.

"What we've seen is the brightness of the sun has increased while the ozone layer has been depleted. So climate change has lead to warmer temps so spring comes earlier and fall lasts longer and people are outside more. Due to the combination of these environmental changes current risk from UV is higher than it's ever been before, says Drew Shindell PHD.
