Summer can be hard on skin, leaving it clogged and oily no matter your skin type. Beauty expert Molly Nover-Baker gives her tried and tested advice on keeping your complexion fresh and clean all summer long.

Exfoliate

The classic cleanser and freshening ingredient, baking soda, is having a moment. Bior has come out with some great new products including The Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub. "When you activate it with water little bubbles form that take a deep dive into your pores to help break up the dirt and oil that can get stuck there," Nover-Baker says. Boasting a convenient customizable powder formulation depending on whether you want a deep exfoliation or something more mild, you can dial it up or down depending on how much product you use. "It's fantastic for combination skin on that oily t-zone, and on your cheeks you'll see a nice exfoliation. I recommend using it once or twice a week," says the expert.

Cleanse

The second product from Bior is their Baking Soda Pore Cleanser. "This is your daily liquid cleanser that's really going to help get in there and give you a deep exfoliation, but it's still going to be gentle enough on those dry patches. It's oil free and will help excavate out the sebum that's stuck in your pores while also exfoliating off that top layer of dead skin cells. What you're left with is truly radiant, glowing skin," she says.

Protect

Another must-have to help you survive that hot summer weather is from Ban, their roll on deodorant. It offers around-the-clock, 24 hour protection from sweat and odor.
