Deceptively small beauty tweaks can make a powerful impact, says style expert Lilliana Vazquez. From a DIY blemish buster to the newest super-smile technology, check out these tried and true tips for a current, confident and fit Fall season. And the best part? Everything's under $15.
Moisturize From Head To Toe
Coconut oil? Been there, done that. Instead, prepare for the newest "it" hydrator: camellia oil. It's huge in Japan, which means it's about to become a big-time trend in the U.S, says Vasquez. "It's perfect as a multi-purpose moisturizer for your hair, for your skin and even for your nails." You heard it here first.
Rev Up Your Smile
Could your oral hygiene be better? For most of us the answer is a resounding yes, according to the folks at Philips Sonicare, the number one dental professional recommended power toothbrush brand in the U.S. "I love the Philips Sonicare PowerUp Power Toothbrush. It provides more brush strokes in one day than a manual toothbrush provides in an entire month. And it costs less than fifteen dollars. If you've been wanting to try power, but are on a budget, this one is definitely for you.
It helps whiten teeth, reduce cavities and helps improves gum health," says Vasquez.
Make Your Liner Last
It's easy to make your own lasting eyeliner at home. All you need is Visine, a small eyeliner brush and drugstore gel or powder eyeliner. Velasquez' tip: "Simply add a few drops of Visine to your eyeliner brush before you dip it into your gel or powder, then apply as you normally would. Your liner will last up to twelve hours."
Click Your Way To A New Workout
Forget shelling out big bucks to a trainer; get your workout tips on social media instead. Keep an eye on your Instagram feed and take screenshots when your favorite fitness influencers post their routines on their accounts. "Then, add the shots to an album on your iphone and scroll down while you're working out for all the right moves to help you work up a sweat," she says.
