Dustin Diamond who played the popular role of Screech on 90's show Saved By the Bell died Monday after a recent diagnosis of lung cancer.
He was 44. "Saved By The Bell" co-stars paid tribute today on social media.
Mario Lopez shared a photo of himself and Diamond with caption, "You will be missed my man."
Elizabeth Berkley said she will "hold onto those sweet memories and the laughs we shared."
Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dustin Diamond, a true comedic genius. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Looking back at our time working together, I will miss those raw, brilliant sparks that only he was able to produce. A pie in your face, my comrade.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar called him "a true comedic genius."
Tiffani Thiessen stated she is deeply saddened and added "Life is extremely fragile and it’s something we should never take for granted."
Lark Voorhies, who has yet to post since his untimely passing, shared a throwback picture of the two, calling him one of her dearest friends and wishing him well two weeks ago when he was first diagnosed.
Tori Spelling who appeared on several episodes of the show as Diamond's love interest, wrote "My 1st onscreen love Dustin Diamond got his Angel wings today."
