The cast of Boardwalk Empire hits the red carpet for the fourth season premiere at the Zeigfeld Theatre in New York City. The HBO show starts up again on Sunday 8th and promises to be just as action packed as last season, which ended with a bang (literally).
The series' star Steve Buscemi who plays the notorious Enoch 'Nucky' Thompson is not a stranger to great ensembles. However, the ex Sopranos' castmate says "It's the best cast" of his fellow felons on the boardwalk.
And this season they are making room for some fresh faces...newbie Patricia Arquette boasts that nothing else out there rivals the authenticity of the period drama.
"[It's] such a beautiful project. I mean people don't spend money working this way anymore," says the former Medium star, "If somebody wrote a movie that took place in the '20s now they would say it's too expensive to shoot...and say you got to update it."
Series regular, Gretchen Mol, alludes that big things are happening in the fourth installment. "This is like one of the amazing chapters," says the actress who plays the devious Gillian Darmody.
Another cast addition, Ron Livingston agrees, "I think all the chips are going into the middle" he says, "I think some heavyweights are going up against each other."
Tune in for all the action on HBO.
