The best beauty advice might be more basic than you think. So before you splurge on pricey products try these au naturel tricks the celebs use everyday.
Don't Forget Your Fats
Want supermodel skin? Karolina Kurkova says to eat your fat! But before you grab something with substantial calories make sure it has the right kind of fat. The supermodel says it's the good fat found in avocados and coconut oil that will give you that glow whether you are eating it or applying it right onto your skin.
Oil Obsession
Makeup wipes can be harsh so actress Gillian Jacobs opts for coconut oil and olive oil to cleanse her skin instead. Actress Melissa Fumero also turns to coconut oil to combat the dry California air's effects on her skin and stylist Sami Miro slabs on organic lavender oil on her face nightly.
If It's Not Broke Don't Fix It
Have a zit? Actress Analeigh Tipton says, "Don't touch them!" Model Nina Agdal suggests not applying anything on your skin at all, if you don't already have an issue. She says, "I try to like not put too much on my skin because I don't believe in it, like only if you need it don't mess with it.... don't start rubbing on all this stuff it will mess you up."
Make Your Own
You can also get creative and combine your favorite natural go-tos like Girls Zosia Mamet. The actress always carries her homemade room spray when traveling. "It's essential oils and water and witch hazel," she says.
Less Is More
Mary J. Blige believes you don't have to overdo it on makeup or accessories to look fabulous. "You can be beautiful from the inside and really carry an outfit and the outfit doesn't have to carry you," says the singer.
