Fresh off his Tony win the night before, Jesse Tyler Ferguson was on hand at the SVA Theatre Monday night for the Tribeca Film Festival debut of Broadway Rising which he served as a producer. Theater legend Bernadette Peters, who also appeared at the Tony Awards the night before, performing a tribute to Stephen Sondheim, was also on the red carpet showing support for the film and her friend Jesse. The documentary tells the story of the Broadway community and its harrowing journey back to the stage following the COVID-19 shutdown.
