The Princess of Wales, who has been absent from her royal duties since undergoing abdominal surgery in January revealed that following her procedure, doctors discovered that her condition had been cancerous.
Kate is now in the early stages of chemotherapy as a preventative measure. While the diagnosis came as a shock, she says that she is “getting stronger every day.”
The family is now asking for “time, space, and privacy” throughout the rest of Kate’s treatment.
