On-screen and off, change is in the air for Caitlin FitzGerald

While fans of the Showtime hit series Masters of Sex were cheering the recent announcement that the show will be back for a third season, Caitlin FitzGerald, a.k.a. Mrs. Libby Masters, admits she was still reeling from Season Two.

The actress says of her alter ego, "She definitely makes a big departure in Season Two. I would say [Libby] has maybe the biggest transformation of any of the characters in the second season."

But Caitlin is digging the challenge,"It's been very exciting and also terrifying to play."

As for her next challenge, Caitlin tells us, "[It's] a movie that I'm shooting in the winter, hopefully in Ireland for a while."

So what does the globe-trotting actress wear when she's bouncing between TV and film projects? "I have noticed that my wardrobe tends to be all, like, black and white and gray," says Caitlin, "You know, because I travel so much and it's nice to just have everything go together."

But as for her style in general, she adds, "It's really all over the map. It sort of depends on the day."

And when it comes to skin care while home or away, Caitlin credits her good skin to good fortune. "I got really good genetics in the skin department, she tells us, "My mom looks amazing, and still."

Yet the actress doesn't take her glow for granted, telling us that she maintains her healthy skin by drinking a lot of water and weaving sunscreen into her routine...though accessories and common sense help, too. "I try to wear hats," Caitlin says with a smile, "Walk on the shady side of the street, these things..."

Masters of Sex begins shooting Season Three in early 2015.
