It’s been a year since the pandemic struck, and although we’re starting to see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, the work to support California is far from over, especially for the 27% of children under 18 that are food insecure. That’s more than 2.2 million California kids facing hunger.
To help, the California Milk Processor Board, creators of ‘Got Milk?’ and ‘Toma Leche,' and famous friends Simu Liu and Karla Souza have partnered with Share our Strength's No Kid Hungry to help provide up to 1 million meals to kids facing hunger through the launch of the #StayStrongTogether challenge on Instagram and Twitter.
How it works? Through June 30th simply share a picture of yourself celebrating strength, resilience, and the adaptability of the human spirit with hashtag #StayStrongTogether, mention @gotmilk and tag two friends to join the movement. Each tag will raise a $1 donation for the No Kid Hungry campaign from ‘got milk?’ Every dollar donated can help provide up to 10 healthy meals through their network of local member California feeding programs.
