The star-studded event returned this evening, to its long-held date, on a rainy first Monday of May in NYC.  The damp weather didn’t dim the excitement or the spectacle of this year’s theme, "Gilded Glamour, White-Tie."  A who’s who of fashion, sports, music, film, and tech personalities made the scene for the annual hot ticket fundraiser which raises millions of dollars for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute.
