The gala raised 9 million meals for people in need

It was a star-studded night on the orange carpet for Food Bank for New York City's 2019 Can Do Awards at Cipriani Wall Street, NYC. Honorees to walk the carpet included Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka and Chef José Andrés along with friends and fans of the Food Bank such as Katie Lee, Luann de Lesseps, Adam Richman and Marc Murphy.
 
Nearly 1.5 million New Yorkers rely on Food Bank’s programs and services. With every dollar donated, the Food Bank for New York City helps provide five meals to people in need and from last night's event alone, the organization raised 9 million meals.
