The actress reveals what she thinks makes her new series a smash

Funny and fiery red head Laura Prepon best known as Donna Pinciotti on That '70s Show is popping up in a new buzzed about series, Orange is the New Black. Netflix's binge-watch sensation, features Prepon as Alex, the drug pushing former lesbian love interest of Piper, the show's star who finds herself in prison with her loathed ex-girlfriend.

Laura says the show's success might stem from its original format. "Everyone's like there's nothing like this on TV" she says of the dramedy only available on Netflix.

If you don't know what she is referring to, it's the new phenomena of "binge-watch" series. Thanks to Netflix releasing their original series in its entirety...fans can get their fix of their favorite show in one longgg sitting.

Laura has gotten into the fad as well, "this is how they watch TV now. This is how I watch TV...and it's how all my friends watch TV," says Laura "it's really smart what they're doing."

So how does Laura get her glam on when she's not donning her character's orange jumpsuit? "It's all about bronzer," says the star, "a little bit of bronzer to contour...and an eyelash curler that's really all you need. Always curl your eyelashes!"

And with her fame continuing to grow, Laura turns to "family" to keep her sane. "I just have my really tight group of friends who are like my family," says Laura, "they just protect me from any crazy stuff and I protect them its like a really great group. We really look out for each other."

However, no one is there to protect her from the ladies of Litchfield, NY, federal prison and the outrageous situations they face on the hilarious series. Check it out on Netflix.com.
