3 Ways to Spice Up Your Popcorn

Nothing is better than a big bowl of freshly popped popcorn on a Friday night. We crank up the yum factor with these flavor-packed sweet and savory recipes to take your kernels to the next level.
Buffalo Cheddar
Ingredients:
3 cups of popped popcorn kernels
2 teaspoons unsalted butter melted
1 tablespoon of your favorite buffalo wing sauce
½ teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon cheddar cheese powder
½ garlic powder (optional)
Instructions:
-Pour the popcorn into a large container with a lid.
-Stir the buffalo sauce into the melted butter.
-Drizzle the mixture over the popped corn, then sprinkle on the salt, powdered cheese, and garlic powder (optional).
-Place the lid on the container and shake vigorously to evenly coat the popcorn.
Rosemary Truffle
Ingredients:
½ cup popcorn kernels
¼ cup truffle oil
1 tablespoon plus ½ teaspoon fresh minced rosemary
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
½ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions:
-Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
-After the oil is hot, add the popcorn kernels and 1 tablespoon of rosemary, then shake the pot to gently toss the kernels until they are all coated with oil.
-Cover with a splatter screen or a lid that is placed slightly ajar to allow the steam to escape.
-Cook until the popcorn popping frequency slows to several seconds between pops.
-Remove from heat, allow a minute or two for any final pops, then pour into a large bowl.
-In a small saucepan, combine the butter and remaining ½ teaspoon of rosemary. Melt the butter mixture over medium heat.
-Drizzle over the popcorn and season with salt, tossing occasionally.
Cinnamon Roll
Ingredients:
10 cups popped plain popcorn
1 cup chopped nuts such as walnuts or pecans (optional)
1 cup brown sugar
¾ teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup butter
Icing
Instructions:
-Place popcorn and pecans in a large bowl and set them aside.
-Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon in a medium microwave-safe bowl (at least 2-quart size). Mix well.
-Cut the butter into chunks and place it on top of the sugar mixture. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, stir, then microwave for another 2 minutes. Stir and microwave for 2 more minutes.
-Remove from microwave, then pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and stir well to coat.
-Put in a large bowl and drizzle icing mixture over popcorn and top with chopped nuts.
Icing Ingredients:
1 cup powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
1-2 tablespoons milk
Instructions:
-Mix powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until spreadable (mixture will thicken slightly as it sets).
