Alice + Olivia: Fairytale Funk, NYFW Fall 2014

Stacey Bendet's Alice and Olivia's line is straight out of a fairytale ... sparkling fairy skirts and long brocade coats fit for a queen

Alice & Olivia presented their fall collection like a fairytale set in The McKittrick Hotel in NYC. Models were flitting about room, to room dressed like Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty.

"The whole show concept plays into this world of Shakesperian Fairytale," says Stacey Bendet.

Storybook characters sport the clothes -- an awesome floor length red brocade coat, full sparkling skirts and lots of black -- and socialites buy them.

"I've seen so many great things so I'm excited," says Paris Hilton

Her sister Nikki is excited about the Victorian Boho-chic scene.

"Stacy always done the coolest presentations. I love her style. This is something she's never done before. It's really cool." says Nikki Hilton.

If Carolina Herrera's clothes are for formal types than Stacey Bendet's are for the downtown girl who wears studded sneakers with her tule dress. Actress Morgan Saylor of Homeland feels right at home.

"I'm a bit of a punk so I like something that's not super put together. Throw on boots or a huge coat or something that makes it a little cozier or more me," she says.
