Betsey Johnson's Fall 2013 Fashion Fitness

Betsy Johnson's fall runway show mixes fashion and fitness at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

"I'm so inspired I want to go to the gym right now! It was amazing. So much fun. So playful. Who doesn't want to look fabulous when they're working out?" says actress Carmen Electra.

Models sporting pink and white wigs strut and stretch their way down the runway in ankle booties. Fur and prints are celebrated with high kicks.

"To me it's two kinds of clothing -- your dress and your outfit wear. I made a workout video for myself and it created this show. It's so exciting ... it's a good idea, it's entertaining," said designer Betsy Johnson.

Even Johnson joined the crazy catwalk doing her best Jane Fonda. Her energy is endless.

"I'll be making this print but to make it quick I spray painted it. That's a little stencil from an arts and crafts store and that's a doiley," said Johnson.

Tracksuits carry the crafty print and models hold handbags with cars -- the perfect accessory for a fast moving show.

"It's a mix of reality (their ponytail) with fantasy and I just like it because it's clean and modern," said Johnson. Loud yellow .. quilted leather .. and lots of leopard... Betsy Johnson has us all worked up!
