DAILY 4: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2014 Marches On

Charlotte Ronson, Derek Lam, Tracy Reese and Trina Turk keep the pace

Everyone's feet are sore as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week marches on at Lincoln Center in NYC. And no one sends the message to keep up the energy better than Charlotte Ronson.

"I love Charlotte's collection I'm actually wearing it tonight," says party poster girl Paris Hilton clad in a leather dress.

"This season the girl is inspired by ...Parisian girl living in NY, she's studious, intellectual but she likes to have fun," says Ronson.

Far out florals rock the runway, de rigeur for Ronson plus a few new patterns.

"She has a dress that's black and white check that's very cool," notes Kate Nash Singer/Songwriter.

The make-up ? Tomboy chic.

Beauty this season is a heavy, darker, tougher eye and the rest is very simple," says Ronson.

Derek Lam takes Ronson's librarian-letting-loose-look and gets slightly more upscale and serious with structured dresses in a new web-like fabrication.

"I love Derek Lams clothes. I just think you see them and you want to wear them. They have real style and a real point of view," says Linda Wells, Editor in Chief Allure.

Braids are bombarding the catwalks but Lam let it all hang out.

"We are having very loose waves. We spray Phyto light hold hair spray and then Phyto just to get a little bit of that chunkiness second day look," Orlando Pita Hair Stylist.

The eye make-up gets geometric.

"The face ... I love that little square bit on the outside of the eyes. This is like a new way of doing it. I love that," adds Wells.

Tracy Reese's cuban street party collection is all the tropical prints you could shake a Havana-made cigar at . Actress Meghan Markie inhales .. taking it all in from midriff baring tops to short hemlines.

"It's pretty exciting to be here. It's my second show and my first fashion week ever," Meghan Markle - Actress "Suits"

From Havana to California .. it's been quite a trip this Fashion Week. Trina Turk has the travel bug too.

"Our theme is California road trip. We are incorporating Mr. Turk which is our menswear line and also mixing our swimwear collection into the looks .. and we were playing around with this idea of total look sets .. so a top and bottom in matching fabric.

"What I love about this collection is it's sort of beach fun, throw it in a bag, and go on an adventure. Yeah. Great, " swoons actress Perry Reeves.

Be sure to pack bright yellow wherever you, a runway stand-out across many collections. And longer dresses.

"There are some long gowns but they are styled in a very casual way. It looks really great. We're excited about it, " says Trina Turk - Designer

There's a lot to be excited about when it comes to spring 2014.
