Diesel Black Gold boldly combines and contrasts masculine and feminine elements in a striking Fall 2015 collection

Swathed in black, gray and indigo, the Diesel Black Gold Woman for Fall 2015 is powerful, fearless, and confident in showing her feminine side in a bold and brave way.

Andreas Melbostad, Creative Director for Diesel Black Gold, explains, "For me, this was all about the raw beauty. I wanted to express this sort of duality in the woman, so she has a masculine kind of structured side, and she also has a very sensual flirtatious side."

Layers are key, with squared, strong leather pieces and metal hardware juxtaposed to delicate dresses and lacy lingerie-inspired looks...also part of a greater vision, says Melbostad, "The other part that was really important was to play this sort of masculinity of tailoring against like a slip dress [to] kind of bridge and juxtapose those elements."

Diesel President Renzo Rosso says a new addition is a tailored jacket with a refreshed silhouette for "More, let's say, a 70s look." Though an 80s influence was present as well in tailored suits that drew the eye to the shoulders, oversized wool felt blazers, ribbed knits and sharp geometric shapes.

"There [are] just such good everyday pieces," says Model Gigi Hadid, "My normal everyday look, which you can see today is like, jeans and a t-shirt and like one really exciting piece, and I feel like Diesel [Black Gold] does that for me."

And for Musician Wyclef Jean, it's all about that bold, young Diesel Black Gold vibe. "I mean, it goes with me as a musician...The clothes really go, as a rock star and as someone who loves guitar, and I used to watch all of the rock and roll videos and hip hop videos," says Jean, "It's just like, this is cool."
