The snow stopped falling from the New York sky just as the models stopped sashaying down the runway. So, what's the forecast for next fall? Cozy and colorful.
"The colors really come from the landscape of Tibet. I wanted to use the cardinal red, and the mustards that you see in the fields and the valleys. Lots of white and steel grays and golds and silvers," says designer Bibhu Mohapatra.
Actress Edie Falco has played many colorful roles -- she hit the style scene for Nanette Lepore's show. Falco knows how transforming the right clothes can be.
"It's fun and it's something you can just enjoy and it can make you feel different," she says.
Lepore does something different this collection - she embraces neutrals.
"I wanted to have a really easy to wear palette. So we stared with gray and camels as the base and then from there built on the beautiful colors," says Lepore.
There's nothing neutral about Betsey Johnson - it's in your face color and texture. The veteran designer uses funky green fur, chunky shoes and bright yellow tights to wake-up sleepy dressers.
"Color and fun and rock n roll. To all the rocker chicks out there because there is a rocker chick in all of us," says Johnson.
Actress Zendaya Coleman caught the Betsey bug when she was just a teenager.
"I Iove Betsey Johnson! I used to love that store! Me and my mother would go there all the time!" she says.
To finish off these new fall looks -- strong, neat hair off the face at Derek Lam.
"We started doing hair inspired by tribal indian hair. Having a middle part and really slick down graphic pony tail," says stylist to the stars, Orlando Pita.
