It was an uplifting moment at Frederick Anderson’s Spring 2026 runway show during New York Fashion Week. Feeling the weight of the world in recent times, the designer sought to offer a much-needed escape—taking the audience on a mini vacation to a place he calls “joy.”

The collection transported us to the Mediterranean, bursting with vibrant teals and breezy, beach-ready resort wear, including tunics, maxi dresses, and sundresses. The silhouettes were intentionally looser, embodying the freedom that Anderson believes every woman should experience.

Lace—a signature of Anderson’s work—took center stage once again, but this season also welcomed a rich mix of tweed, silk chiffon, and crochet, adding texture and variety to the joyful aesthetic.
