Herve Leger gave a Southern spin to his iconic "bandage" dress in his Spring 2013 fashion show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. "We were inspired by an area in Alabama called the Gee Bend. They make the quilts," said designer Lubov Azria, Chief Creative Officer of Herve Leger. Handcrafted embroidery, patchwork and appliqu fused with signature couture techniques created a collection that was a portrayal of feminine strength.
