Giuliana Rancic Previews her Spring Collection at the HSN Fashion Lounge

"G" is back with a few favorites, tons of color and some sleek black and white numbers

The HSN Fashion Lounge at the Empire Hotel provided the perfect backdrop for Giuliana Rancic to showcase her second Spring collection "G" at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The TV personality-slash-designer gave us a glance at some of her favorite pieces and talked about the inspiration behind the fashion line.

"G" is splashed with Spring colors, but Giuliana still loves to incorporate the sleek black and white trend. "You'll see that quite a bit," said Giuliana, while displaying a faux leather jacket.

Giuliana also gave a peek of a little tan suede number with a matching skirt (also available in blue). A hot pick from her collection? The knit cardigan. "Women went crazy for this, so we brought it back in all sorts of fun colors -- vibrant, bright colors for spring," says the designer.

The cascade faux leather jacket is also making a repeat appearance. "What's great is it kind of gives you this layered look," she says. "It has this Ponte knit, so it's like a nice stretch, so it fits you snug, but you don't feel like you're in a tight jacket."

Giuliana "definitely" does not design with one age group in mind. "Everyone wants to look fashionable," she says. Rather, Giuliana focuses on the woman who loves a good fit and style. "I basically design what I would wear and what I would hope that other people would want to wear," she says.
