Kenneth Cole Fall 2013, Comes Back to the Future

Kenneth Cole takes the streets to the runway with his Fall 2013 collection full of tall boots and tough leather.

"I'm here at the Kenneth Cole show I've been a fan of his for a long time .. his clothes, his shoes are just phenomenal. It seems like every movie I do lately the shoe selections .. nine out of ten ... are Kenneth Cole," says, actor, Cuba Gooding Jr.

Shoes have certainly showed Cole the money. He paired them with slim pants for the guys. Bomber jackets are big for both sexes. And sparkly sweaters seem to signal the designer looking to the future, after a seven year hiatus from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

"It's nice to see that Kenneth is in the fray of all if it and he's one of the most enduring designers," says actress Brooke Shields.

The puffer jacket endures for fall ... an urban staple. Models accessorized in armor-like accents ... stiff neck collars, zippers and in one case a chest plate .. conjuring images of fembots.

The palette is strong on fall's classic earth tones. Cole leaves color out of the mix -- but there is plenty of flash. #KENNETHCOLEISBACK
